Stephanie Cormack, the Founder & Chef Behind

CORE CULINARY DINING is led by Chef Stephanie Cormack, a seasoned
Sunshine Coast based professional with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Stephanie's hospitality career began at 16 years of age as a coffee roaster in her birth place of
Western Australia. Growing up on the coast, abundant with premium seafood and variety she spent her time
by the sea fishing, crabbing and capturing the premium Western Australian Rock Lobster and Fremantle Octopus.
Taking some time to travel she visited such destinations as Indonesia, Singapore & Batam Island, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Bangkok & Phuket, Mumbai & Sri Lanka, Chile, Peru, Lima, Machu Picchu, Cusco & Bolivia
Making a decision to relocate to the Sunshine Coast for the sun, surf and produce she embarked on her culinary journey as a chef and completed an apprenticeship in Noosa, Sunshine Coast. Since then Stephanie has worked and collaborated with some of Australia's best chefs and hatted restaurants.
With experience from chefs such as Jason Saxby (Raes on Wategos, Quay, The Ledbury),
Mark LeBroy (Three Blue Ducks), Nelly Robinson (NEL), Luca Ciano (Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia),
Zeb Gilbert (Wasabi/Makepeace Island), Mitch Smith (Tony Kelly Group) &
Gabriele Taddeucci (Capella, Star, Merivale) to name a few, as well as local Sunshine Coast venues.
Having a keen desire to travel, Stephanie then embarked on her private chef career on super yachts around Australia and the South Pacific. For the past 6 years she has had the opportunity to work with well regarded superyacht vessels, private islands & retreats and private residences.
Having worked in multiple locations Australia wide and the Pacific Islands, she has a passion for sourcing the freshest and highest quality produce and an unmatched commitment to detail. Stephanie creates an exceptional dining experiences for all occasions, whether it's for a private residence, retreats, functions, or bespoke events.
